Home Visits

Patients are asked to telephone before 1.00pm if a visit is required that day. Emergency visits only will be arranged after that time.

You may only request a home visit if you are:

• Housebound

• Too ill to visit the practice

Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

Please attend the surgery if at all possible.

Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to home visits.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP.
